What is finger number?
The piano has something called "finger numbers."
This finger number indicates which note should be played most efficiently with which finger.
It will advise you on how to move your fingers not just to play that note, but to play the next note.
Piano sheet music sometimes has numbers written above or below the notes.
So which number refers to which finger?
The finger numbers have numbers 1 to 5.
1: Thumb
2: Index finger
3: middle finger
4: Ring finger
5: Little finger
It becomes. (Common for both right and left hands)
Generally, the upper rows of music scores are played with the right hand, and the lower rows are often played with the left hand.
Therefore, the numbers on the notes in the upper row are often the finger symbols of the right hand, and the numbers in the notes in the lower row are often the finger symbols of the left hand.
