“Furusato” is a nursery rhyme that every Japanese person knows.
It was once selected as a song by the Ministry of Education, and has become a song that always appears in textbooks.
It is of course still widely used today, and is included in many of the latest music textbooks.
As someone who comes from a rural area, I used to listen to this song every time it was played at 5 p.m. until I had calluses in my ears. (Maybe in urban areas too?)
In the area where I currently live, a different song is usually used in the evenings, but during summer vacation, the familiar ``Furusato'' is played.
This time, I will introduce the free sheet music for "Furusato".
There are also sheet music made with do-re-mi for children and beginners, so please try using them.
Now let's introduce some free piano sheet music.

Hometown Free Sheet Music ① (Do-Re-Mi included)
The first thing I'd like to introduce is a melody score with do-re-mi that I transcribed.
Not only do we add do-re-mi to the melody, but we also modulate it to C major.
Therefore, you can play without using any black keys.
The only thing you need to be careful about is the "so" on the far right of the first line.
This "G" is the only "lower G" than the middle C, so be careful not to play a high G.
If you play with a smartphone piano app or pianica, please use this.
Hometown Free Sheet Music ②
The next thing I'd like to introduce is sheet music with do-re-mi for beginners to play with both hands.
The right hand is the same as ①. The left hand is fairly simple, using only a few notes, and can be played with the fingers in fixed positions throughout.
This is a simple sheet music recommended for those who are just starting to play the piano.

Next is the score with the difficulty level slightly increased for the left hand from ②.
What was once a single note has now become a chord, making it slightly more detailed, so I think it's an easy-to-understand score even for beginners.

Hometown Free Sheet Music ④
It's a slightly difficult score with increased difficulty for both the right and left hand, including the intro at the end.
Please note that it is free, so it may not be complete.
