"Kiki's Delivery Service" is a work directed by Hayao Miyazaki that aired in 1989. Among Ghibli-related piano scores, this is one that often contains multiple songs.
Additionally, singer Yumin aka Yumi Arai (Matsutoya) sings the opening and ending themes. Although neither of them sing directly about the movie, their unique singing voices match the movie perfectly. However, it seems that a different singer is singing a different song in Kiki's Delivery Service that was aired overseas... which is a shame. .
By the way, "Gigi" is my favorite Ghibli character. I hope many people can relate to this. (lol)
This time, I will introduce the sheet music of the songs that appear in "Kiki's Delivery Service."
We will mainly introduce sheet music posted on our sister site, but due to copyright usage fees, the free use of sheet music is only for viewing . Please note that downloading and printing may require purchase. You can use your smartphone or tablet as is by opening the sheet music and placing it on the music stand.
We've also embedded a YouTube video of the performance in the link, so take a close look at each sheet music, or listen to it, and choose your favorite sheet music. Click on the sheet music image to go to the link.

Town with a view of the sea
The first place I would like to introduce is the "City with a View of the Sea."
This song plays when Kiki departs on her journey and arrives in a new town.
This is the scene that says, "Gigi! Are you stuck together? Look! It's a city floating on the sea!"
It is almost always included in the Ghibli sheet music you can buy at bookstores.
Personally, this is my favorite song in Kiki's Delivery Service, except for Yumin's song.
Sheet music ① (Introductory version with do-re-mi)
The first thing I will introduce is a simple sheet music that I made myself.
I transposed the key to avoid using black keys as much as possible, and gave it the note name Do Re Mi. In particular, the left hand is quite simple, so it is suitable for beginners.
If you use the melody line in your right hand, you can also play it on a recorder, keyboard harmonica, piano app, etc.

Sheet music ② (beginner)
Next is the music score, which is a little more difficult. It matches the key of the original song.
Difficult final stages are omitted.
The difficulty level is beginner.

Sheet music ③ (intermediate)
Lastly, it is a slightly difficult score that reproduces the original song as much as possible.
This course is for people who can play the piano to some extent.

This is the ending theme for Kiki's Delivery Service, ``Yasashisashi ni Wakareta Nara.''
This song doesn't need any explanation.
Sheet music ① (Introductory version with do-re-mi)
This is a simple sheet music first transposed to C major.
I have arranged it so that it is easy for beginners to play, and I have given it the do-re-mi note name.

Starting work
The next thing I'd like to introduce is "Starting work."
This song plays when Kiki gets her first job and leaves with her birdcage.
“I wish I could fly too~” (Osono)
"Auntie! Do you know that girl!?" (Dragonfly)
It's a very upbeat song overall.
This song itself is simple, but the score is also simple.
Personally, I find this song very addictive, and I still play it from time to time.
Sheet music ① (C major with do-re-mi introduction)
The first thing I'd like to introduce is my self-made sheet music with do-re-mi.
I chose C major to avoid using black keys as much as possible.
It also has the musical name of do-re-mi.
If you use the right-hand melody line, you can also play it on a recorder or pianica.
Sheet music ② (beginner)
Next is the score returned to the original key.
I have arranged it so that it is as easy to play as possible. .

"Gigi! I decided tonight! Let's leave!"
Like A City with a View of the Sea, it is almost always featured in Ghibli sheet music that can be purchased at bookstores.

This is the song that plays until you meet an unpleasant senior witch.

Sheet music ② (beginner)
Next is the Beginner difficulty level.
I returned it to the original key, giving it more depth, especially on the left hand.

Departure
The next piece of music I would like to introduce is ``Tabidatsu'', which is the music that plays in the scene where Kiki leaves the house at the beginning of the movie.

The first thing I will introduce is sheet music with do-re-mi.
The left hand accompaniment part is simple, so it may feel a little strange.
