Disney began production about 100 years ago. Mickey Mouse and many other characters and movies, as well as theme parks, are still popular today.
One of the most well-known Disney songs is the music. The old songs “When You Wish Upon a Star” and “Mickey Mouse March” have been loved by people for several decades and are now regarded as children’s songs.
In this issue, we will introduce a selection of free piano sheet music composed by Alan Menken that has appeared in such “Disney” works. We will continue to add to this page as we go along, so please feel free to “favorite” this page or this site. Mickey Mouse March
It seems that this song was originally used as the opening for a TV animation. From there, it was used at Disneyland and other places, and now it has become a popular song all over the world. In Japan, it is like the songs of Doraemon and Anpanman.
This song is out of copyright and available for free download.
Score 1 (Introductory with Doremi)
The first one is a score with do-re-mi that I made myself.
It is transposed to C major so as not to use the black keys. The following score is also based on this transposition.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a score with a slightly higher difficulty level for the left hand from (1).
Difficulty level is Elementary is

Score ③ (Beginner to Intermediate)
Finally, here is a score that is even more challenging.
The sense is that it is at the Burgmüller graduation level. Since there are many chords, you may want to cut off the lower notes if it is difficult.
The difficulty level is beginner to intermediate. The following are performance videos available on Youtube.
Small World
It’s a small world” is a popular children’s song around the world.
Today, it is a song that is always sung in nursery schools, kindergartens, and elementary schools.
Score 1 (with Doremi) (Introductory)
The first one is a piano sheet music with do-re-mi written by myself.
It is transposed to C major to make it as easy to play as possible.
With the melody line in the right hand, you can play it with a recorder or other instruments.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a slightly more difficult score.
The left hand accompaniment is a little strong in arrangement, so check the linked performance video once before playing.
Difficulty Levels are Elementary to is.
Score 3 (Intermediate)

When you wish upon a star
This song was used as the theme song in the 1940 Disney film Pinocchio.
It is considered one of Disney’s most popular songs, as are “A Small World,” “Mickey Mouse March,” and “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.
Score 1 (with Doremi) (Introductory)
The first one is a melody score.
The tempo is slow and not too difficult, although the score uses black keys in some parts.
I believe that a keyboard harmonica or piano app would be sufficient to play it.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a slightly more difficult score.
It is in the key of E major to match the original.
Difficulty level is Elementary is
Score 3 (Intermediate)
Finally, it is for those who can play the piano to some extent.
Difficulty level is Intermediate is
Bibiddy babiddy boo.
The song “Bibidi Babidi Boo” is very popular worldwide, including Japan. Nowadays it is also sung as a children’s song.
This song was an insert used in the 1950 Disney film “Cinderella,” and I believe it was also used in the 2015 live-action version of “Cinderella.”
Score 1 (with Doremi) (Introductory)
The first one is a melody score.
There are many black keys, and the melody is based on triplets, making it a difficult piece for beginning piano players.
With a little practice, I think you can play well enough on a keyboard harmonica or piano app.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a slightly more difficult score.
An introduction is added that recreates the beginning of the song from the movie.
Difficulty level is Elementary is
*Some of the songs are omitted.
Score 3 (Intermediate)
Finally, it is for those who can play the piano to some extent.
Difficulty level is Intermediate is
*Some of the songs are omitted.
Part of Your World
Part of Your World” (English name: Part of Your World) was the theme song for “The Little Mermaid,” which was released in Japan in 1991.
It’s a song that Ariel, the main character of The Little Mermaid, sings while dreaming of the wonderful world of land, looking at the Nanika she found on land.
Score 1 (Introductory)
First is a simple score with do-re-mi of my own composition.
It uses the same keys as the original song, so several black keys are used.
Check each note carefully and play it while looking at the Do Re Mi scale.
You can use the right hand melody line to play on other instruments such as the recorder or pianica.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a somewhat more difficult score.
If you can play Burgmuller, etc., this sheet music is recommended.
Difficulty level is Elementary is
Score 3 (Intermediate)
Finally, the score is for those who can play the piano to some extent.
The score is based on a certain sound source, but some may feel a little uncomfortable.
The difficulty level is intermediate.
Under the Sea
Under the Sea” (English name: Under the Sea) was the theme song for “The Little Mermaid,” released in Japan in 1991.
The Little Mermaid” is a Disney production based on Andersen’s fairy tale “The Little Mermaid.
Score 1 (with Doremi) (Introductory)
The first one is a simple sheet music with the Do Re Mi scale.
Only the first number, but it is a simple arrangement in the key of C major.
However, the tempo of the original song is very fast, so this song is quite difficult even if the score looks easy. Beginners should try to play it after slowing down the tempo.
The right hand melody line could be used to play it on a recorder, for example.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a slightly more difficult score.
It is in the same key as the original, but this is also only the first number.
Difficulty level is Elementary is
Score 3 (Full Intermediate)
Finally, here is the full-size score.
To be honest, I think the interlude part could have been arranged a little better, but I was quite tired at the stage of making it.
You may want to check the linked performance video once before playing it.
Difficulty level is Intermediate is
A Whole New World
The song “A Whole New World” from the Disney movie “Aladdin” is such a famous ballad that even those who have never seen or remember the movie feel they have heard it before.
The song also won an Academy Award for Best Song.
Score 1 (Introductory)
The first is an introductory difficulty score of my own composition.
It is transposed to use the black keys as little as possible and is scaled to the do-re-mi scale. The accompaniment for the left hand is very simple. Furthermore, the key change at the end of the piece has been omitted.
As with the rest of the score, it would be more correct to use a tempo of about “120” and to make each note half the length (quarter note to eighth note), but we have done this for ease of reading. Please note that using a metronome would make it very loud.
It can be played by piano beginners as well as by recorder and pianica.
The difficulty level is introductory.
Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a score of my own composition at beginner difficulty level.
Compared to (1), this piece uses more black keys because of the key change. The accompaniment for the left hand is also slightly thicker. However, it is not so difficult because it is composed almost entirely of single notes.
Score 3 (Intermediate)
Finally, here is a full-size score of intermediate difficulty.
The left hand is not so difficult, but the tempo is so fast that the right hand is more difficult than it looks in the score.
This sheet music is recommended for those who can play the piano to some extent.
Friends Like Me
This is “Friend Like Me,” another song from Aladdin that often ranks high in karaoke rankings.
The overall difficulty level is high due to the complexity of the music.
Score 1 (with Doremi) (Introductory)
First is a simple sheet music with do-re-mi.
The left hand accompaniment is composed of simple notes.
The original music is quite fast and complex, and the score is relatively difficult even at the introductory difficulty level.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
*Some of the songs are omitted.

Score 2 (Elementary)
Next is a simple score with increased difficulty mainly for the left hand.
Difficulty level is Elementary is
*Some of the songs are omitted.

Score ③ (Intermediate to Advanced)
Finally, here is the full-size score that reproduces the original as much as possible.
Difficulty level is Intermediate to Advanced is. It is quite difficult.
There is quite a bit of arranging involved, so I recommend checking out the performance video at the link.

Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast” is one of Disney’s most popular films.
Originally a French folk tale, Disney adapted it into an animated film in 1991, and it continues to enjoy a strong following today, including remakes and live-action adaptations.
Score 1 (with Doremi) (Introductory)
The first one is a score with do-re-mi that I made myself.
The beginning of the piece is in the key of C major, and I try to use as few black keys as possible. However, the key goes up in the middle of the song, so I use a lot of black keys in the last part of the song.
With the right hand melody line, you can play it not only on the piano but also on a recorder or other instruments.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
Piano Scores (2) (Elementary)
Secondly, the difficulty (especially in the left hand) has increased a bit.
As in (1), the introduction is in C major.
Difficulty level is Elementary is
Piano Scores (3) (Intermediate)
Finally, the score is in the key of the original song for those who can play the piano to some extent.
Difficulty level is Introductory is.
