The original Pokemon ( Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow), a memorable classic for those in their 20s and 30s today.
Since its launch in 1996, it has quickly become a huge hit and has created a Pokémon whirlwind.
Even today, a variety of goods including Pokémon games, animated cartoons, and cards are still being sold.
It is also worth remembering that “Pokemon Go” has become a boom in recent years.
I am also a member of the generation, and played for dozens of hours with a big Game Boy with four batteries at the time. (Maybe hundreds of hours…).
I didn’t really know how to raise them or the route to take at the time, so I struggled back and forth in the same places.
I almost gave up many times because of the Iwayama Tunnel, the waterway to Glentor, and the large number of wild Pokémon on the “Champion Road,” but the sense of accomplishment after finishing, the challenge of collecting 151 Pokémon (which I never achieved), and the fun of playing against friends remain in my memory.
For those of the generation who have played the game, the music will be stuck in their heads.
We have collected such piano scores of the first pocket monsters.
Here are some free sheet music scores of some of the most famous of these songs.
However, some of the free sheet music is a little poorly arranged and has a broken atmosphere. We have compiled a list of free sheet music that we feel is of high quality among such free sheet music.
The score may appear small or rough on smartphones and other devices.
Please click on the image of the score to go to the link, and download the music.
Of course, downloading and printing is possible.
If the free sheet music we introduce just doesn’t fit your needs, please try purchasing professionally written sheet music at a bookstore or online.

Opening (title theme)
The first one is the familiar opening.
It’s the music after the Piroro Lone and the Game Freak logo.
Sheet music ①.
There are many piano scores for the opening of the first Pokémon, but this one is a very good reproduction.
The dispersed chords are somewhat easily arranged, but otherwise the original music is well represented.
There is no particularly difficult way to move the hands, so if you calmly practice slowly at first, you should be able to play without problems.
The difficulty level is intermediate.
There are slightly more chords than usual, so if you can’t reach them, you can cut off the bottom note.
Also, piano beginners should start with a slower metronome setting (about 100).

Sheet music (2)
This sheet music is equally complete.
It is almost the same as the score of (1), but a little easier than the previous score of (1).
The score is easy to play, especially the number of chords in the right hand and the dispersed chords in the left hand.
The difficulty level is beginner to intermediate.
As for the tempo, the score here specifies a quarter note at “192”, but as far as I remember, I feel that it is not this fast.
Personally, I think it would be better to play it a little slower.

Pokemon Center
Next up is music from the Pokémon Center.
The Pokémon Center is a place I stop by again and again.
Many of you will naturally have that music burned into your brain.
This score is basically simple.
The left hand in particular repeats the same movement throughout.
This may be somewhat difficult for piano beginners, as the right hand will be playing two parts at the same time.
The difficulty level is beginner to intermediate.
This score loops endlessly, just like the original. (You don’t have to reproduce it that well…)
Feel free to arrange the last bar and end it appropriately. (Laughter)

Masala Town Theme
Next up is the music of Masala Town.
It is also the sound you hear when you start Pokémon, but it is also the first music played after defeating the Four Heavenly Kings and after the ending.
I think the gentle tune of the music is the reason for its popularity.
This score is very simple.
The right hand is melody only, making the score easy to play for beginners.
The left hand may seem a bit strange at first, but it is not difficult if you practice it slowly and carefully. It is not so difficult if you practice while checking it slowly.
Play them one by one calmly.
The difficulty level is elementary.
This score also loops endlessly.
Feel free to rearrange the last bar to end appropriately.

Trainer Battles
The next music to be introduced is the music for the trainer battles.
I don’t need to explain any more.
This score features fast 16-part notes.
A long, rapid play occurs in the beginning and middle of the game.
There is nothing noteworthy about the rest of the section, but this fast playing makes it more difficult.
The difficulty level is intermediate to advanced.
Do not practice fast playing thinking that you are going to play fast from the beginning.
First, slowly and surely continue playing that phrase until your fingers memorize it.
As your fingers become accustomed to the tempo, gradually increase the tempo.

Last Battle (Rival)
“I am the best in the world! I am the best in the world!
It’s a famous rival line.
I already remember this feeling of despair and excitement even now.
After defeating Wataru (lvl 65 Caillou), the last of the Four Heavenly Kings, and feeling relieved, this rival comes out.
Even as a child, I despaired, “How am I going to beat this guy with full wounds?”
Such is the score of the last battle.
As you know, this score is an arrangement of a trainer battle.
It is a fast play, just like trainer battles.
However, the overall difficulty of this score is lower than that of the Trainer Battle score.
The rest is not difficult, especially if you can get past the fast play in the beginning and middle of the piece.
The difficulty level is from intermediate to high.
This score also loops endlessly.
Feel free to rearrange the last bar to end appropriately.
It is a masterpiece that will surely excite you if you play it and let the Pokemon generation hear it, so please try your best to practice it.
